Location:
the Plume of Feathers, Half Moon street, Sherbone, DT9 3LN

Expect an evening of  hot-blowing, straight-ahead jazz from this quartet led by Lee Goodall on sax and flute.

Hampshire born Lee moved to New York in 1978 and worked with a host of the city’s most creative musicians including Melvin Gibbs, Guillermo Franco and Jack Walrath and recorded with Steve Gadd and Marcus Miller.  After his return to Britain he played with musicians of the calibre of Don Weller, Peter King and Andy Sheppard, Alan Skidmore, Stan Tracey, Keith Tippett, John Taylor and did a two-year stint with Van Morrison. This quartet features Ray D'Inverno on piano, Pete Maxfield on double bass.

Doors open at 7.30pm

This gig replaces the previously advertised Andy Sheppard event at the David Hall, South Petherton, which has had to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
